A tractor-trailer flipped over on Route 7 in Hubbard Township Monday evening.

The accident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Route 7, just before Route 62.

Police said the driver of the truck was heading south on Route 7 when he went off the right side of the road, hit a utility pole and flipped over. Steel coils that were on the trailer were strewn in the front yard of a nearby house.

The driver was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital Health Center with unknown injuries.

Route 7 was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene. The road remained closed as of 9:30 p.m. Monday.
