Stabbing

Police in East Liverpool have released the name of a man who was stabbed several times inside a Brightview Drive home early Monday morning.

According to police, Scott Ingram Jr., 33, was found lying on a neighbor’s front porch around 12:30 a.m. bleeding heavily from several stab wounds in his chest and leg.

Ingram told police who stabbed him and officers went to a home a block away at 1300 Brightview Dr. and interviewed the homeowner, son, and grandson. A trail of blood was found from the 1300 Brightview address to where Imgram was found.

Ingram was taken by medical helicopter to Pittsburgh Medical Center where he is in stable condition.

Police said the victim and another subject were allegedly arguing over a woman.

A folding pocket knife with a 3.5 inch blade was taken into evidence.
