A fire destroyed a house on Youngstown’s South Side.

Crews were called around 12:30 a.m. to the house in the 200 block of East Philadelphia Avenue.

The house was fully engulfed in flames and firefighters let the structure burn to the ground.

Crews worked to protect an occupied house next door but that house sustained damaged to the siding.
