Safety day held in Austintown

Children got a chance to see the equipment emergency crews use every day to keep the community safe.

A Community Safety Day was held Friday in Austintown. A medical helicopter was on site and local fire and police departments brought their cruisers and trucks to the event and let the kids hop inside.

A canned food collection was also held to benefit the Rescue Mission.
