Traffic on Interstate 680 in Youngstown was backed up Wednesday night after a woman drove her car over an embankment.
The accident happened around 9:45 p.m. on I-680 between Belle Vista and the Route 711 exits.
Denise Watkins, 31, of Youngstown said she was cut off by another vehicle before she lost control and hit a guard rail, sending her car over the embankment.
Her vehicle landed near railroad tracks below the freeway.
Watkins was taken to the hospital to get checked.
Traffic was diverted off I-680 for a short time as crews tried to get to the scene of the crash.
