Apartment complex evacuated

The stove fire spread to the walls, but was quickly put out by the Youngstown Fire Department.

An apartment fire on a stove in Youngstown forced the evacuation of the building Tuesday night.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. at Valley View Apartments on the Tyrell Avenue in the city’s North Side.

Fire officials said the fire spread to the walls, but was quickly put out.

No one was injured.
