Members of a private motorcycle club in Warren were terrorized at gunpoint by three masked men late Wednesday night.

“I have heard of people getting robbed around here, but it’s crazy when it happens to you,” said Brian, who was one of the victims.

He didn’t want to be identified, but Brian said three men wearing masks and toting guns entered the private motorcycle club on West Market Street just after 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Usually the doors on the club are locked, but apparently the robbers busted their way through as one of the members  was entering.

“Well my brother got hit once when they came through the door ’cause he tried to stop them and one of them hit him in the right side of the head, split him open, took him to the ground,” Brian said.

Brian also was hit several times in the head and was kicked in the ribs. He said the gunman corralled other club members into a corner.

“Got everybody down at gunpoint, hit a few of us on the head with their pistols, a shot went off. They robbed everybody. Got everybody’s keys and money out of their pockets,” Brian said.

The robbers also got away  with $1,200 from the safe. A few of the club patrons tried to chase the men on their bikes, but they lost sight of them. No on was seriously injured.
