A tree that fell and snapped a pole supporting power lines in Hubbard and Liberty has caused outages.

The tree fell on the pole at about 9 a.m. Friday on Logangate Road near Youngstown-Hubbard Road at the Liberty-Hubbard township line.

A transformer nearby on Louis Seifert Road and Youngstown-Hubbard Road in Hubbard also exploded at about the same time.

Crews are working to repair the damage.
