Roses laid for fallen soldiers

Names were read and roses laid on the graves of 17 Lowellville Village residents who died fighting in wars around the world.

The ceremony on Saturday was part of Lowellville Day, which began with a parade from the high school to the memorial downtown.

Festivities continued through Saturday night with a DJ and live band.
