Some ‘Enlisted’ TV cast members visit Fort Bliss

FORT BLISS, Texas (AP) — Some actors in the upcoming Fox television show “Enlisted” have had a taste of life on an Army post thanks to a West Texas installation.

The El Paso Times (http://bit.ly/1bmJu1M ) reported Sunday that cast members visited Fort Bliss for three days last week.

Actress Angelique Cabral, who plays a staff sergeant, says the boot camp experience was an “incredible experience” and changed her life.

Show military adviser Brian Chung says the actors were awakened at 5 a.m., learned about drills and ceremonies, did physical training and road marches, lived in barracks and had surprise inspections.

They also had to learn about the seven core Army values — loyalty, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity and personal courage.

The series premieres Nov. 8.
