Police said a woman will be cited with running a red light and striking a driver early Monday in Sharon.
Sharon police said the woman, whose name has not been released, ran a red light at about 7 a.m. going up a hill on East State Street between White and Spencer avenues.
The woman’s car struck the man’s car that was in the intersection. The man’s car spun around and the woman’s car bounced off a tow truck and landed in a front yard on East State Street.
A passenger in the woman’s car suffered a “serious” leg injury and was hospitalized, police said.
The man suffered a cut to his leg and was not taken to a hospital.
