Man steals test drive vehicle

Neshannock Township police are searching for a man who stole a vehicle from Preston Motors after claiming he wanted to take a test drive Monday afternoon.

Police said the man went to the dealership on Wilmington Road about noon and said he wanted to buy the car. When the salesman went inside to get a dealer plate for a test ride, the man took off in the car.

The stolen vehicle is a 2005 black Chevrolet Cobalt with a black spoiler on the back, a gray interior and no license plate. The suspect is described as a tall white male in his 40s, approximately 160 pounds with a thin build.
