Great Dane pups found

Six Great Dane puppies were found behind a house in Youngstown.

The puppies were left in wire crates near the garage. A neighbor discovered the dogs and called Animal Charity.

All six of the ten-week old puppies are healthy and have a good chance of being adopted.

Animal Charity Executive Director Talia Musolino said the owners may have moved and left the dogs behind.

“When I heard about them, I thought they were a lot smaller than they are,” said Musolino. “They’re really, really sweet and a lot of them will get adopted easily.”

Animal Charity is pursuing charges against the owners.

The puppies will be available for adoption starting Aug. 21.
