Liberty Township firefighters are calling a house fire late Monday night suspicious.

Flames broke out just before midnight at a vacant house in the 1100 block of Tibbetts-Wick Road.

Firefighters believe the blaze started in the kitchen area and quickly spread to the back porch.

Neighbors said the homeowners recently moved.

A cause has not been determined but the fire may have been intentionally set.
