2 Pa. men jailed robbery-related SWAT response

IMPERIAL, Pa. (AP) — Two Pittsburgh men were jailed on robbery and related charges following a report of a shot fired in a vehicle that resulted in a SWAT standoff at a suburban home.

Online court records don’t list attorneys for 23-year-old William Moore and 19-year-old Andre Hill, who remained jailed on robbery, terroristic threat and related charges Wednesday.

Police in Findlay Township responded to the shooting report shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday and found a man in a vehicle who claimed a shot was fired when the men tried to rob him. A police dog led officers to a residence, and the Allegheny County SWAT team was called after the men refused to surrender.

Police fired a flash-bang grenade into the house, prompting the men to surrender.
