A tractor-trailer and SUV collided in Youngstown, causing the SUV to flip onto its roof.

The accident happened around 2:10 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Himrod Avenue and N. Hine Street.

According to witnesses, a tractor-trailer hauling pipe was traveling east on N. Hine Street when the driver failed to stop at the stop sign, hitting a Jeep Cherokee exiting the Himrod Expressway from behind and causing it to flip over.

The top half the Jeep was crushed.

A man and woman in the Jeep were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center. The woman is in stable condition. The condition of the man is not known. Both victims were talking to emergency crews at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
