Beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday, the ramp from I-680 northbound to U.S. Route 224 will be closed through mid-October for roadway construction.

The detour will be Western Reserve Rd. to South Ave.

The work is part of a $5.4 million project to widen the US 224 bridge over I-680 and improve the I-680/US 224 interchange.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed by late October 2014.
