Concession profits are up at the Covelli Centre this year after a change in management services.

JAC management Group took over the food and beverages services of the arena last year.  Instead of paying out to a separate vendor, the management company of the Covelli Centre took over concession operations.  Through the fist six months of the year, the food and beverage department has profited nearly $90,000 which is now property of the City of Youngstown.

City Council approved in June a new five-year agreement with JAC Management Group. The deal is estimated to save the city $250,000 a year.
