Five new part-time police officers have been hired in Campbell.

Three were sworn in Friday during a ceremony. The new officers are Nancy Tipple, Jason Goist and David Kriebel.

The two others— Russell Beatty and Ronald Craig— will be sworn in at a private ceremony.

“With the addition of these officers, they’re going to be on the streets,” said Campbell interim police chief Drew Rauzin. “We are going to try and continue our message over the past month-and-a-half of a presence that’s producing and making contacts in the community.”
