A Howland woman was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon in Mesopotamia Township.

It happened along State Route 87 near the Geauga-Trumbull County line.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Angela Lenart, 41, had to be flowed to a Cleveland hospital after the motorcycle she was riding was hit from behind by an SUV.

Troopers said she was not wearing a helmet.

The SUV also struck another car at the intersection.

No one else was hurt.
