A pedestrian was hit by a Jeep Monday in Liberty.

Troopers said the pedestrian was walking on Belmont Avenue across the Firestone auto repair shop when the Jeep was pulling into the parking lot.

Troopers said the Jeep was struck from behind, forcing the Jeep into the pedestrian.

Troopers said there were no life-threatening injuries and that the pedestrian was conscious and talking with investigators.
