Scrappers return home this evening

The Scrappers return home to take on the first place Jamestown Jammers tonight. Since the all-star break, Mahoning Valley (23-34) has fallen in five of their last six. Caleb Hamrick (1-5, 4.00 ERA) will take the hill for the Scrappers. The 2012 8th-round pick has tossed 16 innings over his last three starts and has allowed just three earned runs.

Jamestown (35-23) snapped a three-game skid by winning their last two. The Jammers will throw 6’3 right hander Chad Kuhl (2-4, 2.55 ERA) at Mahoning Valley hitters this evening.

The two teams have played five other times this year including the season opening series on June 17-19. The Jammers hold a 3-2 advantage.

Mahoning Valley will be home for seven games in a row over the next six day stretch.
