Happy hour benefits Mental Health Foundation

The patio of Up a Creek Tavern in Howland was full for Happy Hour Wednesday and the crowd gathered there for a good cause.

The Valley Community Mental Health Foundation hosted its Fourth Annual Happy to Help Hour to raise money for the foundation and help decrease stigma surrounding mental illness.

Local leaders such as Warren Mayor Doug Franklin and State Senator Capri Cafaro sold raffle tickets and $5 burgers.

Our own Jeff Levkulich also helped out with fundraising.

Live music and drink specials kept the crowd happy.

This year’ goal was $2,500.
