Poland defeated visiting Newton Falls 3-1 in high school volleyball Thursday night. The scores were 25-19, 25-16, 17-25, 25-23.

Arlia Duarte led the way for the Lady Bulldogs with 11 kills, seven digs, five blocks, 16 points, and five aces. Allison Berend also tallied five aces, including three in a row in the 1st game.

For Newton Falls, Hannah Zelle loaded the stat sheet with 18 digs, 16 points, 16 assists, and five aces. Gabby Kline added 15 kills and six blocks.
