Irish blank Heartland Christian

Ursuline topped Heartland Christian, 4-0, in high school boys soccer action Thursday night. The game was played at Farmers National Bank Field, the new home of YSU soccer.

The Irish got on the board in the second minute of the game when Paul Latell found the back of the net. John Hintz, Mark Fusillo, and  Zack Freer each notched assists.

Zack Freer, John Hintz, and Gianni Quattro also tallied goals for Ursuline in the win.

Goalkeeper Trey Roller finished with seven saves for Ursuline while Heartland Christian’s Drew Fountain racked up 21 saves in the setback.
