Unbeaten South Range holds off Mooney

South Range remains undefeated following a 3-1 (19-25, 25-19, 26-24 and 25-22) win over Cardinal Mooney in high school girls’ volleyball action Thursday night.

Jordan Youngs had 24 digs, 14 points and two aces for the Raiders. Ashley Shetter had 15 kills, 11 digs, and five points, while Stevie Taylor tallied 13 kills, 16 digs, one ace and six points in the win.

Mooney’s Nichole Webber had seven blocks and eight kills.

Gina Patella had 26 assists and 18 points, while McKenzie Reese and Maddie Abrigg tallied eight kills apiece. Maddie Abrigg had eight kills.

The Raiders improve to 4-0 on the season and return to action Tuesday. Mooney hosts Canfield on Saturday.
