2 found dead in NE Ohio apartment; drugs suspected

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — A coroner’s investigator says authorities suspect drugs were involved in the deaths of a man and a woman found at a northeast Ohio apartment.

The bodies were found Wednesday at an apartment complex in Canton, about 50 miles south of Cleveland. Investigator Rick Walters says heroin also was found in the apartment.

The Repository newspaper (http://bit.ly/12qnmRB ) reports the victims weren’t listed as tenants in that apartment.

Authorities were withholding their names until their families could be notified. Walters said the man appeared to be in his 20s, and the woman was in her 30s.

It wasn’t clear who first reported finding the bodies.
