Man shot in drive-by shooting in Youngstown

Youngstown Police said a man was shot outside his home on West Chalmers Avenue early Friday morning.

One man is in the hospital after a drive-by shooting in Youngstown early Friday.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 300 block of West Chalmers Avenue on the city’s South Side.

Police said a man was shot outside of his home.

The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with a gunshot wound to the leg and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.

Officers said they are looking for two black men in a black Chevy Cavalier, possibly connected to the shooting.
