Woman jailed for stabbing neighbor in dog dispute

ENOLA, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania woman is charged with attempted homicide after police say she stabbed and poured some kind of caustic liquid on her neighbor.

Police say 54-year-old Lourdes Keefe of West Fairview of Cumberland County threw liquid on 60-year-old Dyanne Ensminger that burned her skin and stabbed her twice in the stomach.

East Pennsboro Township police say they recently cited Keefe for having dogs running loose and Ensminger testified against her in court Thursday.

Police documents say after Keefe was found guilty, she waited for Ensminger to arrive back home and attacked her.

Keefe is also charged with assault, making terroristic threats and witness retaliation.

She was sent to Cumberland County Prison without bail, pending a preliminary hearing Sept. 13. It couldn’t be determined if she had an attorney.
