A classic car cruise, raffle and D.J. were just some of the events at the End of Summer Fest in New Middletown.
Windsor Estates Assisted Living hosted the free family event. Residents had a chance to get out and relive a part of their past as well as help to raise money for future events at Windsor.
Activities Director Kim Sheldone said it is important to have activities to help sustain a good quality of life for the residents.
“We need to keep them active and give them a better quality of life, and that is what we are doing today,” said Sheldone. “This is just a taste of what they grew up with, and we just wanted to provide that for them so they enjoy their time here.”
The event also featured a 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction.
