-Thanks to a late 14-play time consuming drive by the Falcons which resulted in a 5-yard touchdown run by their senior quarterback Matt Futkos, Fitch won the 2012 season opener – 24-10 – over Harding. Tyreke Anderson compiled 146 yards on the ground and a score for the Falcons. The game was Steve Arnold’s first as Harding’s head coach.

-In 2003, Jon Richardson led Harding’s rushing attack with 134 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Raiders rallied to score the game’s final 13 points to win, 26-14. Richardson replaced the injured Delbert Ferguson and Richard Davis in Harding’s backfield. Harding’s defense held Fitch to just 167 total yards of offense.

-The Falcons have allowed just two of their last fourteen regular season opponents to score more than 10 points in a contest.

-SVC History: Fitch won 11 conference championships while Harding claimed the title 7 times.

-In Fitch’s last regular season game of the 2012 season, the Falcons defeated Cardinal Mooney (49-7). The win marked Phil Annarella’s 200th during his 32 years of coaching.
