One person was injured after a motorcycle and two other vehicles collide in Edinburg.

Police said the motorcyclist was traveling east on U.S. Route 422 when he ran a red light and hit a Jeep. The motorcycle became lodged between the SUV and a trailer the Jeep was pulling. The impact of the accident sent the Jeep into the driver’s side of another vehicle.

The driver of the Jeep and the other vehicle were not injured.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center.
