-Two years ago, Lakeview and Hubbard combined for 1,049 yards of total offense and 71 points. Hubbard’s quarterback Ashton Owens threw for 5 scores on 12 of 22 for 253 yards. Lakeview’s signal caller Anthony Franco also connected on 30 of 55 passes for 447 yards and 4 touchdowns. Three players hauled in passes for over 100-yards (Elijah Henderson, 12 catches for 180; Austin Haines, 9 catches for 161; Darnell Tate, 5 receptions for 129).

-In 2010, the Eagles’ Mike Lopuchovsky booted a 52-yard field goal to end the first half with Hubbard ahead 10-0. In the second half, the Bulldogs responded with three touchdown runs by Trevor West and Anthony Franco. West scored twice as Lakeview rallied for a 21-18 victory.

-Hubbard has defeated Lakeview in six of their last eight meetings.

-The Bulldogs finished last season with a 2-3 mark at home. It was the first time since 2008 (2-3) that Lakeview did not register a winning record at Don Richards Memorial Stadium.

-Over their last 19 games when Hubbard scores below 21 points, they are 0-6. During that stretch, they are 13-0 when scoring 21 points or more.

-If Lakeview wins, Coach Pavlansky will obtain his 90th win as the head football coach of the Bulldogs. If Hubbard wins, Coach Hoffman will have won his 50th contest at Hubbard.

-Hubbard has gained 685 passing yards and has churned out 634 stripes on the ground over their last three meetings against Lakeview.

-Lakeview closed out the Trumbull Athletic Conference with the final league title in 2007. The year prior, Hubbard claimed the championship. In 1991, both teams shared the crown.

-The Eagles’ junior running back L.J. Scott has eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark in six of his last seven contests.
