Toddler thrown from car in crash

A toddler was thrown from a car around 7:30 p.m. Monday during a three-car accident at Indianola Avenue and Gibson Street on Youngstown's South Side.

A toddler was thrown from a car around 7:30 p.m. Monday during a three-car accident at Indianola Avenue and Gibson Street on Youngstown’s South Side.

The child was taken away in an ambulance, but the injuries did not appear life-threatening. There was a child seat in the car, but police weren’t sure if the child was properly restrained.

Police are still investigating to determine who was at fault in the crash.
