A 23-year-old woman is facing felony charges for stabbing her child’s father.

Jasmond McCoy, 23, of Youngstown, was charged Monday with second-degree felonious assault in Youngstown Municipal Court.

Reports say McCoy stabbed the man in the arm at about 11 a.m. Sunday at a home in the 2200 block of Ohio Avenue.

Police said they found McCoy and the man inside the home. The man had cuts on his face and arms.

Reports say McCoy went to the home and threatened the man with a knife.

The man was arrested for having outstanding warrant. Police said they’ve had issues with the two before.
