Howland girls now 2-0, beat Fitch

Howland girl’s soccer team improves to 2-0 on the year after beating Austintown Fitch, 3-1, on Wednesday night.

Jordan Entler put the Tigers on the board @ 19:57 in the 1st half, making it 1-0. Seyla Perez made it 2-0 Howland, with a goal at 8:03. Hope Sutton assisted on the goal.

Jenn Boyd added one more goal in the 2nd half for the Tigers on an assist from Jenna Dorchock. Fitch’s lone goal was scored by Lauren Bower.

Howland had 12 shots on goal, while Fitch notched nine. Howland’s keeper, Monica Kotyuk, recorded eight saves while Austintown’s Andrea Precurato had nine.

Fitch drops to 0-1-2 on the year.
