Ohio Lottery says $1M Powerball prize unclaimed

NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (AP) — Lottery officials say the owner of a million-dollar Powerball ticket sold in western Ohio is running out of time to claim the prize.

The ticket from the March 23 drawing expires Sept. 19. It was sold at a Speedway store on East Main Street in New Carlisle, about 55 miles west of Columbus.

The ticket matched the five numbers for the March drawing but missed the Powerball.

The winning numbers that day were 17, 29, 31, 52 and 53. The Powerball was 31.
