Leetonia took the early lead in the first quarter as Trent Ferry connected with Zack Van Giesen on a 25 yard pass, giving the Bears a 6-0 lead.

Looking to add to their lead before halftime, the Bears struck again on a two yard run by Van Giesen and took a 12-0 lead.

After the half, Lisbon pulled within a score, as Josh Liberati connected with Jagr Groubert on a 35-yard pass, bringing the Blue Devils within six.

In the fourth quarter, it was Liberati again, this time from two yards out, tying the game at 12 and then a successful extra point put the Blue Devils ahead for good.

Lisbon (1-0) will take on Mineral Ridge next week.

Leetonia (0-1) hosts Columbiana next Friday night.
