Wilmington’s Cody Llewellyn threw for three scores as the ‘Hounds started Coach Terry Verrelli’s 35th year with a 28-10 victory over West Middlesex. Llewellyn connected on eight of 15 passing for 143 yards. Mark Peoples caught two touchdowns. The Greyhounds posted a touchdown in each quarter.

On defense, Mitchell Whiting established the line of scrimmage as he got through the Big Reds’ front five for three sacks.
Ed Roberson coached his first game at the helm of West Middlesex. The Big Red trailed by four at the half (14-10). West Middlesex totaled 201 yards of total offense.
Wilmington (1-0) returns home for their opener against Grove City next Friday. Moniteau will welcome West Middlesex (0-1) in week two.
