An 11-year-old boy stepped on a syringe in the front yard of his grandmother’s Warren apartment building.
Reports say the boy stepped on the hypodermic needle while playing in the front yard east of the Buckeye Apartments.
The boy’s mother told police a spoon with residue was found near the syringe.
The boy was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for testing.
