New name for pub

Town Pub

A Boardman restaurant has a new look and a new name.

The former Danny Boy’s on Route 224 is now known as the Town Pub.

Its owners are spending this week remodeling the location. They decided to drop the franchise tag and open an independent restaurant.

Owners said the restaurant should open sometime this weekend.

The menu will see a complete overhaul as well.

“We’ll have a steak,” said Laurie Chamoun. “People came in here asking for steaks, asking for chicken dinners. And there was just people (that) are more conscious about their health. And being Aladdin’s Eatery franchise owner we’re still on a growth cusp.”
