Nurses at Northside hospital plan to picket on Saturday.

The Youngstown General Duty Nurses Association is staging an informational picket Saturday.

The 420 registered nurses in the union have been working without a contract since July 2012.

The group said money and the hospital’s plan to adjust staffing based on patient numbers are the sticking points.

Officials with ValleyCare Health System of Ohio, which owns the hospital, will meet with union representatives Wednesday to continue contract negotiations.
