Bikers gathered to pay tribute to the troops in Mahoning County Thursday.
The seventh annual Patriots Day Bike Nite was held at Quaker Steak and Lube in Austintown.
Veterans from Pearl Harbor, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan were all honored. Multiple veterans were specially honored individually.
Many military displays were on site, including a fire truck that was at ground zero during the Sept. 11 attacks.
“And it was an honor for me to be up there. There are a lot of heroes out there, I do not consider myself a hero but I met a lot of heroes sitting in those chairs tonight,” said Korean War Veteran Ray Ornelas.
The event also featured a skydiver dropping into the parking lot of Quaker Steak.
