Brookfield wins big

NEWTON FALLS – Brookfield’s offense got started early and never slowed down, beating Newton Falls 46-6.

Brookfield went into the locker room at halftime with a comfortable 20-0 lead, but the Warriors were just getting warmed up.

In the third quarter, the Warriors’ defense continued to attack.

Tyler Hailey picked off a Newton Falls pass and took it back 35 yards for a touchdown, pushing the lead to 27-0.

The Warriors have now started the season off 2-0.

Newton Falls (1-1) will look to bounce back next week when they travel to Norton.

Brookfield (2-0) heads to Campbell next Friday.
