Fitch tops Akron Hoban

AUSTINTOWN – Behind their offense and strong defense, the Austintown Fitch Falcons picked up a big win Friday night, topping Akron Hoban 27-12.

With no score in the second quarter, Fitch quarterback Antwan Harris called his own number, scoring from 16 yards out to give the Falcons the 7-0 lead.

Later in the quarter, Gabe Chepke found daylight and took the ball in from 27 yards out, spotting the Falcons a two touchdown lead.

In the second half, Chepke punched another score in from one yard out, moving their lead to 20-0.

Fitch (2-0) will travel to Brunswick next week, looking to start off the season 3-0.
