Youngstown Ursuline fell to Lake Catholic 42-27 Saturday night in high school football.
The Cougars jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter after scoring touchdowns on their first three offensive possesion.
The Irish finally got on the board when Kimauni Johnson ran into the endzone from 10-yards out, cutting the deficit to 21-7 at the end of the 1st quarter.

Ursuline found the endzone again in the 2nd quarter, when Vito Penza plunged to pay dirt from a yard out. The would botch the snap on the extra-point, sending Ursuline into the locker room down 21-13.
The Irish would tie it in the 3rd quarter, but a late fumble would lead to Lake Catholic’s go-ahead touchdown.
Ursuline drops to 1-1 on the season. They head to Jackson next Friday night, kicking off at 7 o’clock.
