Farrell rolls Kennedy Catholic

Dewayne Burns scored on a 67-yard run in the first quarter and  Farrell never looked back as the Steelers defeated Kennedy Catholic 35-0.

The Steelers didn’t score again until the second quarter when Brandon Gavins busted through the middle of the line for a 17-yard touchdown run.

Farrell’s defense came to life later in the quarter when Malik Graham intercepted a pass and returned it 84 yards for a touchdown to push the score to 21-0.

The Steelers added a touchdown just before half when Rob Guelledge found Tyrone Archie across the middle of the field on a 22-yard touchdown pass.

Farrell led 28-0 at halftime.

Farrell added a late touchdown in the second half when Gavens scored on a short run.

Farrell improves to 2-0.  Kennedy Catholic drops to 0-2
