Woman leads police on chase in Mercer County

A woman lead Pennsylvania State Police on a high-speed chase through Mercer County, before she crashed her car, and was arrested on numerous charges.

Ashley Dumas, 25, was traveling Interstate 79 at 84 miles per hour in a 65 zone. Police chased after her for 24-miles before she finally stopped.

When she was taken into custody, officers found bags of suspected heroin and multiple prescription medications.

Dumas is being charged with attempting to elude police, possession of a controlled substance, DUI and multiple traffic violations.
