A wide load truck had trouble getting off the interstate in western Mahoning County Monday afternoon.
The truck was trying to exit Interstate 76 eastbound at the state Route 534 exit in Lake Milton, but couldn’t make the turn and went off the road and got stuck in the soft berm. Three tow trucks were called to help get it out.
The exit was closed for several hours following the 3 p.m. incident, backing up traffic for miles. The truck came from Oklahoma and was carrying equipment for the new gas processing plant in Kensington in Columbiana County.
No one was injured.
