Power has been restored in parts of Mahoning and Trumbull counties after an outage left many residents and businesses without electricity overnight.

About 3,000 First Energy customers in parts of Hubbard, Campbell and Youngstown lost power around 11 p.m. Monday. Service was restored around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

A First Energy official said a blown transformer caused the outage.
